I have been training with the Asha-AID team in Boston for the past 9 months, and I am going to run the BayState marathon on October 19th - my first marathon ever! I am doing this to raise money for Asha MIT, and help give the poorest children in India an opportunity to receive basic education. This is a cause that is very close to my heart - India is the one of the fastest-growing economies in the modern world, and it is extremely important to ensure that its children have access to a proper education. This education will empower them to become valuable and active citizens in tomorrow's world!
