I am running the 2008 Chicago Marathon to raise funds for projects that will make a difference in the lives of countless underprivileged children. I am running on behalf of a leading volunteer organization called “Asha for Education.”

I need your support to raise $100 for every mile that I run. Asha is a “low overhead” organization and is rated 4-star by Charity Navigator. Since, 98% of funds collected by Asha reach the intended target; your support can make a real difference. For example:
$25 – takes care of the education of one child for one month.
$50 - can pay for much needed basic supplies for a rural school.
$150 - can provide for books, meals and medical costs for a child for one year.
$500 – takes care of the education of a 10 year old child until she graduates from high school.

Your donation may be tax-deductible in the United States. You can double your contribution by checking to see if your employer matches your donation.
