AID and Asha are two voluntary non-profit organizations committed to promoting education, sustainable, equitable and just development in India, by working with grassroots organizations and movements in India. AID and Asha support and initiate efforts in various interconnected spheres such as education, livelihoods, natural resources, health, women's empowerment and social justice.
I am running a marathon this year to raise awareness about the development issues in India and for funds to support Asha and AID projects. I hope that you would support me by making a generous donation. I am trying to raise $2620, $100 for each mile I run. This money will go a long way in supporting many important and urgent causes in India, ranging from extreme poverty, child education to agriculture and uplifment of women.
