General tips for group runs
Stay informed: The time and location for the group run WILL change every Saturday. Please join our Meetup Group to get weekly announcements. Weekend run plans are normally announced before end of day on Thursday. If you missed the information session, please read the details of the program here.
Trial runs: You can attend the first few runs with no commitments. Take the opportunity to meet our coaches, alumni /fellow runners and learn more about the program before deciding to officially register for the season. Formal registration will be announced online soon.
Come ready to run: Please come prepared to run (running shoes, athletic clothes etc). Leave bags or any heavy items (large phones :-)) etc behind in the car or at home, or you may have to run with them. Coach will briefly explain the route and give you valuable training information before you start. So, please try to come on time (you may need 5-10 minutes extra to find parking). It is OK to run/walk for the first few weeks, we will slowly build stamina to stay running.
Sign in: Please sign in when you come in. This will help us help you match with mentors etc.
Post run brunch: We normally have an informal get-together for snacks/brunch after the run at one of the nearby cafes. This will be a good opportunity for you to network with alumni and fellow runners and share information about the program or clarify doubts.
We don't cancel the runs: Rain or shine, we don't cancel the group runs on Saturdays. Assume that the run is on, unless you are notified otherwise.
Parking and Directions: Please read the meetup event details on the day before the event for tips on directions and parking.
