About Team AID Asha
The Boston local chapters of Association for India's Development and Asha for Education have come together to form Team AID Asha and offer the Run for a Change 2009 program. TAA started in 2002 and has trained about 100 begineers for a marathon and raised more than quarter million dollars for developmental activities in India. TAA is completely volunteer run and is a sub organization of AID Boston and Asha for Education MIT/Boston chapters.

About Asha
Asha for Education is a secular organization dedicated to change in India by focusing on basic education in the belief that education is a critical requisite for socio-economic change. In keeping with this focus, our volunteers are involved with and support projects that are secular and have an education-related component to them.
