TeamAIDAsha History

Our program started in 2003 when a motley group of 8 (mostly first-time) runners started training with help from coach Jonathan Wyner. All of us finished the marathon successfully that fall and raised $20,000 for the program. Over the years our annual fundraising program has grown to train more than 170 runners and have raised more than $440,000. This program is the biggest annual fundraiser for the Boston/MIT chapters of AID and Asha. Secret of our success is the dedicated team of volunteers, alumni runners and coach. We hope you will join us soon as a runner or volunteer. The slides below provide a summary of the program history.
